Dhoni's electrifying 200; India lead by 135 runs

Chennai: Dhonis' rampant innings of 206 not out from 243 balls has given India a very strong position. Leading by 135 runs, India is on a stronger side with 515 for 8 with Dhoni and Kumar on the ground. A smashing century came from Kohli earlier this noon followed by a fast and rampant personal score of 206* by Indian skipper MS Dhoni in a day. Sachin also contributed a patient knock of 81 out of 159 balls.

Third day of the first test match between India and Australia will start with Dhoni and Kumar facing the so called 'bowling attack' from the Aussie side.

Tendulkar laid the strong base of the Indian innings along with Pujara contributing 44 out of 74 balls.

Australian bowling did not seem sharp as Indians made runs with ease. Boundaries came easily for the Indian side.

Tendulkar, Ashwin and Kohli were dismissed by Lyon. Jadeja's wicket went to Pattinson and Henriques took bhajji's wicket.
